Brain OS
Optimism is not a plan.
A Today Contract is.
Most planning tools will let you write down anything and wish you luck. Brain OS writes a Today Contract: three to five tasks, estimated, sized by what you actually finished on days like this one.
Brain OS features
A Today Contract, not a to-do list
Every morning, three to five tasks with estimates, hand-picked or drafted from your deadlines, importance and momentum. Not a backlog. Not aspirational fiction. A contract with yourself about what today actually holds, and it closes when the day does.
Estimates checked against reality
Brain compares the session you planned with the one you ran, and the estimate with the minutes. When the gap is consistent the briefing names it, and your own day-of-week history decides how much tomorrow may ask of you.
Finish anywhere, the plan follows
Finish a task from the board, the timer or the contract and the plan adapts: remaining blocks retire and the slot updates. What is unfinished goes into the Tomorrow Draft, with a recovery slot after a derailed day. Skipped work is recorded as skipped, never hidden.
Review Queue and override log
Disagree with a suggestion? Override it; every override and settings change lands in a log you can read. The Review Queue names what is blocking clarity: overdue, vague, stale, carried over three times, or unsorted. One decision each, then it is gone.
The loop
Brain OS is where the loop starts
The contract hands its slots to Focus, which keeps the record. Insights turns the record into patterns. Tomorrow's contract reads them before it asks anything of you.
