Focus OS

A closed lid is not a session.
This timer does not count it.

Focus runs on timestamps. It knows when you paused and for how long, which task had which minutes, and when the machine went to sleep. The record is the point: everything else in Lucidity is built on it.

Focus OS features

A timer you cannot fool

Timestamps, not a ticking counter. Walk away and come back, and the record says what happened. A pause of five minutes or more is a break, shorter is an interruption. A laptop that sleeps cannot turn a 25-minute session into three hours.

Where the minutes went

Up to eight tasks in one session, each with its own time segment. The record shows where the minutes went, not just how long you sat there.

Moments, not guilt

Capture a moment mid-session and tag it flow, stuck or distracted, without leaving the timer. Over a few weeks you see what actually interrupts you, which is rarely what you would have guessed.

Timed or open, synced across tabs

A countdown, or an open session that counts up until you stop. A second tab shows the same session. One active session at a time, on purpose.

The loop

Focus OS keeps the record

Brain writes the plan. Focus writes down what happened to it: every pause, every segment, every minute. Insights has nothing to say without that record.

Run one session. Read the record.

Ten minutes is enough to see what the timer sees. Free during early access.
